The ‘extraordinary revelations’ to the tune of Bush manipulating the press and essentially lying repeatedly cannot really be much of a shock but the nature of the accuser is. One suggestion that could be examined is that the CIA are angry at having been blamed for the lapses in intelligence and are hitting back. Inter agency/department hostility is not unknown in the cantankerous world of US government intelligence and the CIA were ‘hung out to dry’ in effect by the blame that was placed on the agnecy. What connections Mclellan has to the agency is of course a mystery to probably all except only a few shapeless souls in Washington and will probably remain so until he is renditioned to Uzbekistan….
Just a hunch, trying to plant a few seeds…..
