George Mobiot’s attempted arrest of John Bolton at the Hay festival in Wales was a courageous act the campaigner can never have felt was ever going to result in justice despite the part he played in the dubious conflict.

Not so for Australia’s newly elected ‘progressive’ prime minister, Kevin Rudd. Joining the anti Ahmedinejad gang the Labour Party honcho declared that he would look into taking the Iranian president to court for insighting violence, why not just arrest your predecessor for REAL violence? Or for that matter your opposite number in the States. There are plenty of people with criminal intentions, whats wrong with starting with people who actually have committed crimes?
